Cops, like everyone else, sometimes desire a change in lifestyle and retire from the police force. I've known a few former cops, and they all left for various reasons. One was NYPD and moved out here to SD with his little daughter in search of a better life for them both. He also tended to score some damned fine weed... Crap, did I say that out loud?
