The Reason Foundation is a reliable partner with Corporate America and
can be expected to propogandize about the "myths" about Standard Oil
et.al.
However, I suggest you read some other histories before deciding that,
for example, Standard Oil did not practice predatory competition,
monopolistic practices and illegal control over the railroads to drive
it's competitiors out of business. If you think "anything goes" is
legal and ethical in business, then the position of the Reason
Foundation would probably fit your opinions just fine. If however you
think that competition is good for consumers and businesses need to be
regulated to protect smaller competitors from unfair competition, then
you might look for some other sources for your research.
