Btw thanks for helping with the Adaptec 2120 raid card. The problem is
that the last two firmwares were the issue. Adaptec SCSI Raid firmware
version 7244 and 7349. I did a hdtach under windows xp and notice I was
only getting 30MBs on the test. So I remember about a year ago I was
getting alot better sustained transfer rates. Now I'm running B6008
firmware. Now getting 80MBs sustained transfer rates. Whats going on from
what I can tell even under windows xp is the firmware and software drivers
aren't syncing up causing it to revert to Ultra 2 scsi specs.
