Note -- if you are using LILO for booting, you will have to do
something additional, because LILO needs to know the exact disk
location of the file it is about to boot. ( /boot/vmlinuz.... ).
Grub should not have a problem, because it reads from the file system.
I don't know how to fix LILO problems.
