With deep regret I note the parting of my colleague <name redacted> from
Alaris Medical Systems. However, you can profit from my misfortune by
applying for his job. Doing well by capitalizing on someone else's
misery ... could there be a more American way!

So ... we are searching for a Software Configuration Management
professional for a full-time position in Sorrento Valley. Great company
and working atmosphere (well, you'll have to work with me, but everyone
else is great), competitive benes and salary. Blue jeans dress code.

Requirements:

- real employment experience in SCM
- process orientation
- real experience in a development environment (SCM and V&V preferred)
- mission oriented, good communicator, team player

We write as much as we code.

Nice to have:

- embedded experience a plus
- we're a M$ shop, but Linux is here and may grow
- experience with Perforce and/or DevTrack
- trigger scripting for SCM tools (perl, python, Tcl -- we're agnostic)

Our products (medical infusion devices mostly) are embedded, but we have
many ancillary PC products as well. Our SCM tools are Perforce/DevTrack
although we have legacy PVCS/Tracker.

If you have interest in applying, mail me off-list with resume (doc or
text). I can submit you directly and if you're hired, I get a bonus. My
standing offer should such a bonus come to pass (hasn't happened to me
yet) is that I will take you and a carbon-based life form of your
choosing (and little carbon-based life forms if you can't get a sitter)
to dinner at a place of my choosing. And I'll keep the rest.

If you apply directly and are hired, no bonus, no dinner.

This is not an official Alaris Medical Systems posting, so I may have
some details wrong. Again, if you're interested, write me and I'll point
you to an official posting (it may not be up yet).
