Microsoft developers views on Linux interview:

Here is interesting interview that shows a side of Microsoft that one rarely
sees. The interview is relatively unbiased and gives a good viewpoints from a
MS perspective. I saw none of the ant OSS and LInux line that one usually
hears. One of the developers indicated that MS has come to view Linux as being
another solution inside a enterprise. This is in stark contrast to the Windows
Windows every mentality..... I am glad to see that there is some people within
MS he have this view. Microsoft has explored the OSS community, in fact I have
met a few MS employees at the USENIX & Oreilly conferences.

In many respects however the Linux community needs to mature from the Linux
everywhere mentality as well. In any case it will be interesting to see how
Microsoft matures from a enterprise IS perspective.
