I actually did. I was lucky enough, at the time, to have a top-end 486DX/50 (note, not DX/2 50) which ran so much better under OS/2 than Windows that I converted whole-hog to OS/2 for a good amount of time (OS/2 2.11, 3.0 and 4.0.)
Aside from my complaints about the single-user nature of the OS, OS/2 was very very nice.
