Yeah, I knew that. But I figured that the hole only helps in case of
button failure. You still have to have the ejection mechanism itself
working, right? At any rate, it doesn't work on this drive.

Some paper clips are longer than others. Try harder! ;^)
Seriously, some drives require a real hard, deep poking to get them open
(how's that Tracy? :-) ). You didn't say if there is a disc in it or
not. That could add to the problem. But if the paper clip doesn't work,
then it's time for the screwdriver.
