I would not expect those disks to be region encoded since they are not from a legit source in the first place. Have you gone to a store in China, bought an officially released disk intended for the Chinese market and tried to play it in a US bought DVD player? Your Linux box doesn't count as it probably has DeCSS loaded which can decrypt the region encoding. - -- Tracy R Reed http://ultraviolet.org -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Fedora - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFC8Oqx9PIYKZYVAq0RAnjNAJ4xylnYn1F7S3pwBeP8UypvhR0c/gCbBcEy OzakTyLMYOU86+68E/YfMUQ= =Ng96 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
