That and many other questions are for the next stage. For now I have added aggregate analysis of the main Kplug list. See http://www.prencesita.com/MailStat/ There are many questions in these databases ... for some surprising reason I have been unable to find much discussion of this type of data. Either: 1) the discussion exists and I have not found it, or 2) it does not exist and we have a lot of data that has been ignored for some reason, or 3) some principle of the excluded middle covers what's left ;) I am assuming 1) is true, but am beginning to be suspicious that 2) may be the case, which would surprise me. I would like to be surprised. I believe there is a huge body of data on human behavior in mailing lists, which is awaiting objective analysis. boblq PS. Were I again to be a professor it would be fun to set a crew of graduate student to work on this data. I have fifty new hypotheses each morning before breakfast. But that is easy when you eat breakfast at 1:00 PM. -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
