You might want to check out something like the SunRay thin client from Sun
Microsystems:

<http://www.sun.com/sunray/sunray170/>

These can do Windows via citrix or WTS, X, etc. Pretty cool. We're putting out
a lot of them here at work for engineers, etc.

Get the optional smartcards: when the smartcard comes out the display blanks
and locks. Combine with your security policy (more badge readers on internal
doors) and 'encourage' people to keep their employee id/physical access badge
on the same ring as their sunray smart card. As an aside, at Sun they have
combined all these into one card, so you can't pass through a reader-equipped
door without the same token you use to login to your desktop.

You should be able to get to a point where acccess to the building and access
to the network are combined into one physical object: you can't leave the
building without the keyring holding your network login token.
