Keyboards. Mice. iPods (though the old ones came with FireWire and you can buy FireWire cables for them). Digital Cameras. USB Thumb drives. Floppy disk drives.
There is no one perfect solution, alas. Nirvana can only be achieved by finding the best balance of all available solutions for your own needs. :)
