Maybe. I'm not convinced that we have seen Google tested yet and how it responds to pressure.

Google has a single revenue stream. That stream is under active attack from more fronts than just Microsoft. The converse is not true.

Word processor (and other "Office" docs with local and online copies), and a 
number of other current Beta apps and apps on the drawing board of this sort and maybe 
Google scares M$ because there is almost no stand alone M$ app that can't be done in 
virtual mode...
