Fedora Core 3 boot CD can't autodetect D-Link Gigabit NICs that we use at work.
*After* installation I can update /etc/modprobe.conf to make it happy but what do I do for boot CD? Thanks! Chris P.S. /etc/modprobe.conf wants to hard code NIC modules to interfaces... e.g. alias eth0 3c59x alias eth1 3c574_cs What if some machines use certain drivers for eth0 and other machines use other drivers for eth0? I would like to use same /etc/modprobe.conf on all PCs..
