I have SBC DSL, I started out with 1.5/128k they sent me a card that for five dollars less a month i could upgrade to 3.0/384k it's costing $45 a month (no yearly contract) but i was paying a lot more for cable modem. Unfortunately they have some troubles, but overall the service is fine. I'm not sure what the DSL Extreme is, but if it's faster, even better.
