Hi Seberino, >Xten, the popular Windoze VoIP app, has just been released for Linux.
X-Lite has been around for several months now, and runs very good on Linux. >I'll pay anyone $$$ who can show me how to get a microphone working through a sound card with >Xten to make VoIP calls. Using X-Lite is very straight forward, 1.- Configure your sound card. If only one device can be used at a time, you'll need to stop all the other applications that might be using your sound hardware. If using alsa drivers, make sure to un-mute the mic boost so you can have a better recording. 2.- Start X-Lite The application has a sound wizard for playback as well as recording so, adjust your bar levels as needed. That's it. If you need additional help, let me know. Regards, Urivan A.
