Actually, jwz should just front a couple hundred dollars and get it done. He certainly has the resource, and we now have the ability to handle the bounty escrow and evaluation problems.
I would argue that the fact that nobody seems to be willing to either A) put in the work or B) front the money for someone *else* to put in the work argues quite strongly that the devlopers of Mailman give his complaint *exactly* the correct amount of attention. ie. *zero*
The idea of software bounties is probably the best thing to hit open source in the last 5 years. Now, instead of saying "code it up" to a bunch of people who probably can't do so, I can say: "send money to get it coded up". That cuts through the whiners very effectively.
