Last time I set up Wine, I didn't need any DLLs, and there were none
provided.  However, I was given the option of using DLLs if I owned
Windows.  I see from my trial Crossover installation that it has a
bunch of files that end in ".dll.so".  I'm assuming these are intended
to be the DLL-alikes, and are not actually Microsoft Windows DLL
files.
