My /etc/pam.d/passwd file says to include system-auth, and my /etc/pam.d/system-auth file says: password required pam_cracklib.so difok=2 minlen=8 dcredit=2 ocredit=2 retry=3 password sufficient pam_unix.so nullok md5 shadow use_authtok password required pam_deny.so This doesn't enforce strong passwords, it just says, 'You don't have one. Reconsider.' (Effectively.) I'm not sure how to get it to *enforce*, but I'll continue to look into it. If you figure it out, Chris, please let me know. -todd -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
