Sorry, I missed that you had problems with the Gig sticks. It has
happened to me before that I needed to flash the BIOS to get a board to
take the biggest sticks they claim to be able to take... or if it's an
older board and newer RAM using chips that are more dense.
BTW - I have several boards that have dual BIOS.
The board is pretty new- the SLIs haven't been out for that long. I could
have bought that it needed a reflash before yesterday when it stopped using
a stick of known good ram suddenly and reflashed itself. Now I'm pretty
leery about the board. I can't think of anything else that could cause that
behavior- can anyone else?
