I Googled before I asked here. Obviously, I found nothing useful. I have
spent considerable time looking in directories and files. I've compared
installations on two similarly configured boxes. I've looked in config
files, even those not likely to affect Mozilla or Thunderbird.
I'm asking a group of Linux/Unix experts here because I'm not one
myself, so I don't really understand the impetus for your question.
