You lie. I did not say this:

IS people who didn't do the *minimum* research required before
adopting software?

Home users I can understand... they don't have the time or resources
to do more than a cursory investigation. But corporate users? When
even a *minimal* level of research would have revealed these things?

Again, I didn't write this:

Did M$ jack the prices on software through the roof when I wasn't
looking? No? Then that's not the revenue derived as a result of
its (not it's, but its) monopolistic tactics.

They've got a crapload of money 'cuz lots of people gave it to 'em.

They write crappy software 'cuz people give 'em money to do so.

I don't dispute that they're predatory, and should be taken to task for
that. I don't dispute that they're unethical, and should be taken to
task for that as well (and people who support 'em are also being
unethical, but that's a separate argument). I don't dispute that they
lie, and should be slapped down once in awhile. I don't dispute that
they are bullies, and should have their fingers broken as a consequence.

But stop worrying about the monopoly thing. That time is done and past,
it went to court, and the prosecution purchased. Nothing more to be
done or said... so nail 'em for their real sins.
