Hyperthreading is designed to treat a single cpu as 2.
Moot. Intel is dropping over-hyped Hyperthreading from future chips
anyway. There was a story (pointed to by /.) recently about a study
showing that Hyperthreading actually hurt performance under some common
conditions.
