You mean like when an actor asks to be taken off the credits of a movie?
If you ever see "Shakes the Clown" (Bobcat Goldthwait), billed as "the
'Citizen Kane' of alcoholic clown movies," you will see that Robin
Williams has an extended cameo as a dark-side mime ... but Robin's not
in the credits. And if you see the movie, you will know why Robin asked
(probably threatening a law suit) to be removed form the credits.
I did not see that one, but I did see one where Robin Williams was the main actor, a traveling salesman whose life was falling apart. (I do not remember the title.) The movie had a lot of actors that I've seen many time but don't remember the names. I think that the acting was well done, and I think it was well done overall, but the story line was the the only thing I remember stinking. Basically, you're just watching this man's life go to shit. The end brings no relief. This was the first time that I had seen RW in a non-comedic role, and it was the first time I saw him in a flic that I considered a flop.
