Just restore from backups. I know that hurts. But apparently it doesn't hurt enough because nobody is making backups yet. So I am going to keep saying it while looking for ways to make it hurt more until people decide it is worthwhile to backup their data. Sure, the people who refuse to do backups will think I am an ass. But the people whose data gets saved think I'm a god (and sometimes even pay me).
