I don't like wireless keyboards either, and since I prefer a trackball, I don't mind the wire there either. As a gamer, I dont' want my control to be lost due to a dead battery in the middle of a game either.
I'm finding it damn hard to find good split key (I much prefer split kayboards for the ergo-ness), _wired_ keyboards in stock anywhere these days.
