It seems that asterisk has more features and is more mature. I am wondering why the Yate people feel the need to reinvent the wheel. Asterisk is good for PBX and certain voice application type setups. It is not possible to run a phone company with asterisk, however. I am still interested in playing with VOIP but I am still looking for the right application for it. Obviously replacing everyone POTS line in the world with VOIP is a very desirable market to corner but I don't have the time or money (and believe me, it takes LOTS of both) to go after that one. I am trying to think more creatively. Unfortunately, the dastardly NAT quashes most of them by turning them into tech support nightmares. -- Tracy R Reed http://copilotconsulting.com 1-877-MY-COPILOT -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
