I bought my Asus Z71V without OS from them two years ago and am happy
with it. They will pre-install either Linux or Windows or no OS at all.
(This is what I bought although this description is from a different

Locally, Chips and Memory sells an Asus (Z90?) sans OS.
If I were to buy another laptop, I'd go for an Asus-made unit again.
