Dunno what ADF/ACC is for.

ADF is Automatic Document Feeder. A thing that fits on top of the
scanner and, like it says, automatically feeds documents. One sheet
at a time. So you can scan 50 pages or so without manual
intervention.

Another scanner accessory is a transparency adapter, with a moving
light source that shines through whatever is on the scanner bed. But
I don't know how that might be initialized into "ACC".

Acc just means accessory. I programmed scanner firmware for a year or so and I don't know anything else it could abbreviate to.

The one bad thing about ADFs is that the motor speed tends to be less configurable than the motor speed of the scanbar for the flatbed. That means you get lower resolutions. Still, I wouldn't fax documents without one. You don't really see much difference beyond 600dpi anyway.
