This position is located in San

Hours

Qualifications
  * At least 2 years of technical
    education and graduation or
    technical certification relevant
    to Systems Adminstration and/or
    Systems Programming preferred.
  * 3 years of relevant experience
    required.
  * Job experience with an
    enterprise Unix: AIX, Solaris,
    HP/UX, IRIX or Tru64 required.
    Understanding of TCP/IP and
    common service implementations
    such as DNS, SSH, TELNET, NTP,
    FTP, and operations security and
    data confidentiality required.
    Experience with data backup
    systems, methodolgies and
    rationale required. Ability to
    communicate and document clearly
    and effectively. 
  * Experience with large multiuser
    systems/clusters and demanding
    system uptime requirements
    preferred. Brocade SAN
    experience with zoning and
    storage presentation preferred.
    Exposure to Open VMS and/or HP
    NonStop Kernel preferred.
    Experience with networked
    printer and PDL troubleshooting
    preferred. Interpreted language
    programming experience (sh, ksh,
    DCL, TACL, etc) preferred.
Summary
Positon shares responsiblity for
stability, performance and capacity
of large AIX, Open VMS and HP NSK
implementations and supporting Linux
and Windows Server platforms.
Extensive administratin (Tivoli TSM
and TAPESYS); memory and process
administration; hardware
implementation; support and
implementation of encrypted data
transfers; programming in a variety
of environments with various
databases (MSSQL, Oracle, Cache,
DSM); high level support of vendor
and internal technical issues;
rapidly evolving environment,
extensive exposure to many
technologies. The ISD
Systems/Technical Services
department supports the critical
infrastructure of the Sharp
HealthCare enterprise, including its
core hospital, laboratory,
radiology, pharmacy, business and
personnel systems and application
environments. We are looking for a
prime candidate that is confident of
their ability to excel in an
environment that is as demanding as
it is rewarding and become a member
of a select team held to utmost
standards.
Physical Requirements
Work is sedentary. 90% of time is
spent working on a terminal or
personal computer.
