What about your refridgerator? I did compact bulbs, and new energy star

We had a problem with our refrigerator's ice maker. We bought an Energy Star refrigerator from Sears about two years ago. Last September the ice maker would not work consistently. We had repairmen out several times with no resolution of the problem. Finally, they replaced the entire refrigerator for free. But, they no longer sold that model so they upgraded us to a newer model that was still Energy Star and 'comparable'. Personally, I think the interior is poorly designed because it does not seem to hold as much as the other one did. But it works and it was free. A new free refrigerator because they could not get the ice maker to work? America, what a country!

Me? I think a propane powered refrigerator is the way to go. I used to have an RV with a dual electric/propane refrigerator. I used the propane when I was off shore-power and switched it to electric when I was staying at a campground over night.
