Anyone got a handy/clever way to figure out which site is hitting MySQL ?
How about, "We'll be performing system maintenance from x PM to x PM and your website may be momentarily offline." Then kill each one, one by one, and watch top or whatever. Or just cut to the chase and kill the one you know is doing it. Surely it would take just a couple of seconds each. If my hoster did that to me, I wouldn't know the difference. Of course, uptime on my site is not so important. But surely there's a way for some clever hacker to do it without interrupting the site's availability. -todd -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
