Of course if top-posters would trim all the irrelevant crap from the
quoted material (including unnecessary blank lines, sigs, autogenerated
tags, etc.) top posting wouldn't be as big an issue[1].
I shouldn't have had to scroll down three screen pages just to see if
you had anything to say at the bottom (assuming your top-posted line was
a hint that you had also bottom-posted some smart ass remark).
[1] That applies to bottom posters as well, although it seems
top-posters are less apt to trim.
