Sounds very useful... the real question is whether we could put this (or something like it) on an SMTP proxy (like Anubis) and have it fix e-mails automatically. I'm not likely to switch to Gnus just for that feature But I wonder if Mutt or Vim would require too much fenagling to get that kind of extension/filter to work.
