What's a Mac Mini go for ?
I got mine on clearance for $200. They list for around $500.
Dropping in a 1GB stick of RAM and a 400GB disk will bump the
price up a bit... but minis are darn quiet.
The 1GB wouldn't be necessary just to run VLC would it ?
And I could attached a 1394 disk when I needed more space ?
