At the Bookstore installfest Saturday I heard some discussion of SuSE
10.1 saying that it was not really ready for release, and had some
show-stoppers during installation. There were enough different things
going on simultaneously that I couldn't learn exactly what the problem
was supposed to be.

Saturday night I went through a default installation of 10.1 from the
DVD image onto an emulated system. I had no problems except for the
usual ones of understanding yet another installer with its questions
to the user. There were some parts of the install that seemed to go
very slowly, perhaps this was misinterpreted as a system hang.

Comments from anyone with positive or negative experience are welcome.
