That's one of the things I need to use a proxy for.
There is also a FF extension, called ProxyButton which puts a control on
the tab bar to toggle a proxy on and off on demand:
I've been trying out FoxyProxy. It lets you set proxies for specific
URLs based on a regexp match. It's the closest to what I want. But
not quite close enough to like.
Oh well.

I should have mentioned, I use Privoxy in conjunction with Tor. I have
Tor running all the time. But it only does its thing when Privoxy (the
actual proxy) is running. I toggle Privoxy when I feel the need to
shield my IP address from some sites.
