I have speakeasy VoIP, and from what I saw they seem to have better plans
than Vonage
if you call Europe (22 countries are free as opposed to 5 or 6).  I have
been pleasantly
surprised by the quality and stability.

And if the network is down I would call them using my cell phone, you do
have a cell phone, don't you? :-P

They do. I haven't tried it myself. Who do I call when the network
is down?
