You know, I never really thought about that.  But you're absolutely right.

You can use the same trusted protection module stuff that is being foisted on us to create fully encrypted, fully functional, completely ephemeral servers.

It would have made seizing the Pirate Bay servers completely useless.

Hrm.  Gotta think about that one a while.
