Per the comment for ide_scsi when I run 'make menuconfig', it's no
longer necessary to make CDROM drives pretend to be SCSI.  This,
conversely, makes me think that if you enable it, then you can still
make CDROM drives pretend to be SCSI.  Maybe just recompile your
kernel?
