Yeah, every time I go into c-source to figure out how something works,
I'm surprised that I'm so shocked -- I think it's a denial phenomenon.

Could you get some benefits of not-reinventing things by static linking?
Or are you saying that glib suffers from Everything Depends On
Everything Else (tm)?
