Decided to visit the conference and it was quite worthwhile. There was a lot of talk about SIP trunking. With SIP trunking a service provider acts as your telephony provider thus eliminating the need for the telco on your end. Someone also mentioned that Japan is providing Gig FTTH (GPON:Gig passive optical networking) for homes if you can fathom that. This would allow full screen video hidef video conferencing I suppose.
