Little things I was wondering about Apache's mod_proxy now that I can get everything working....:)
* It seems you can't replace 127.0.0.1 with localhost. I could only get 127.0.0.1 to work in some places. Why? * Remembering to add the / at the end of your URLs is deathly important. You can mess up a proxy or VirtualHost element if you forget a / at the end. Why? * Even if you don't use the DocumentRoot line in a VirtualHost element it seems you sometimes need to have it there. I couldn't get a certain proxy to 127.0.0.1:8080 to work until I added an unused DocumentRoot. Why? Chris -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
