After all the Apple and Amiga jokes a serious note on that:
I'd really like to see such devices in mass production.
After all it's boiling down to people not needing 5 PCI slots anymore because
anything to communicate with the outside is there already on the motherboard.
Sound, graphics, NIC, even FireWire. Sound is even aiming towards decency, at
least on some boards.
Gone are the days of SCSI controllers and other obnoxious interface cards, and
if one really needs interface X he will almost for sure get a USB2.0
converter.

Extremely handy if you need to move your computer a lot but laptop doesn't fit
the profile, i.e. display is in place whereever you go, so is a wall socket
so you can rather spare the battery and put something else in its place, like
additional drives.

(Or 2 ATI X1900 chips with 1 gig of video RAM and 4x2.5" RAID10 on a Core2
Duo... </wetdream> ;) )

After all I've been in much more situations where a decent mobile computer
would have suited me better than a laptop.
