I always liked abiword. It's lightweight, versatile, and pretty solid
these days.
It's also one of those projects that only uses the latest libraries
making hand installation a nightmare of dependencies. But I wanted it on
my Linux box at work ... and that box is on FC4.
Not to worry!
#yum install abiword
