I was wanting to have a look at this. The screenshots look sufficiently like [sufficiently overwhelming like] like other ERP systems, I've seen. I reported problems and a fix with the makefiles being broken for tcl8.4, but now I'm beginning to think it just might not run with tcl/tk8.4. The tarball has a test directory, and none of those seem to work. I kludged my way around the first problem where libtclx.so wasn't found by adding a symlink by that name pointing to tclx8.4/libtclx8.4.so. That cleared up one error, but that leaves (who knows how many) others -- so I got the light bulb saying maybe it only works on tcl/tk8.3? Maybe it works in FC4? I have a suspicion this project is not a high priority and hasn't found any significant outside contributors. The source avail on sourceforge is an older version, and the mail list archives are essentially empty. Ohh, waitaminute, there is a bit of current activity in the "forums", sorta' confirming that tcl 8.3 is required (and also confirming one of my bugfixes -- the quotes in the makefile IF lines). Hmmm, maybe I should go read the READMEs before giving up. Regards, ..jim -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
