Well, it's another of my spasmodic garage cleanings. I have a couple of small items that I'm ether going to push into the dumpster or bring to the next meeting.
I have two (2) of those Fedex diskless 486s with two ISA slots. One is populated with two ethernet NICs. Back in the day, when routers and firewalls were prohibitively expensive, I ran these with Shorewall. Now they're curiosities. Maybe they'd be useful as X10 controlers or some other appliance app. They run Coyote Linux from a 1.44 floppy and will run 24/7 forever and ever amen. Built in monochrome video card and USB keyboard/mouse ports although I ran them headless. Really small footprint.
