I guess we can assume the opensuse people will try to keep running in MS/Novell's slipstream to benefit from suse developement and safety in case MS starts wielding the patent hammer which imho they will inevitably do. So maybe you're right, maybe not but I for my part won't take chances. PGA's issue is tricky tho since I don't know of anything else MS Exchange compatible. A business rival attractive enough to make companies consider switching would be great, but my hopes lay on Novell here, so... (Evolution is open source, right? So in general it's documented what makes Exchange servers tick - and noone yet implemented compatibility in any other mail client, like KMail or so?) Dex
The exchange server connections are there for korganizer. It is organized such that each component makes the connections, and kmail is just a mail client. It uses imap, just like evolution. None of them ever worked as nicely as I would like, but I know people who use both the KDE stuff and Evolution happily. -- JD Runyan -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
