Anyone even considering Vista, read this.

Not to defend microsoft or anything -- anyone who knows me knows I want to
see vista crash and burn like the albatross it is -- but I wonder how much
of this is fear, uncertainty, and doubt. If this turns out to be true,
then perhaps my albatross will perform as expected ...
Ill defend M$ where they deserve it (though less and less every day) because
honestly, IF I can make it work for my clients they don't care who made it,
they want to know its the best solution they can have, and for several
things M$ still fits that bill. I just dont see what is currently called
Vista fitting that yet.
I know that some smaller portions of the authors ranting is wrong, or maybee
mis reported however I can just see some of it playing out so quickly its
kinda scary, Im not the expert on drawing lines in the sand, I like my mp3's
even the ones I own. But at the same time I have no problems with an
industry trying to stop a guy in his garage selling a zillion copies of the
latest mission impossible even if Tom Cruse has way to much money. Its not
up to our industry to strong arm another into saying how much a guy can make
slamming himself into a car while someone films simply because "we can steal
it cheaper".
