Guys, I love you all to pieces and you are the most wonderful support buddies on the planet BUT: I'm not likely to show up. To reiterate: My problem is not that I can't get WAP to work with the old Prism card. I don't give a rat's patootie about WAP. My goal is to have a connected MythDora box in the living room without cat 5. I can see lots of ways to do this without the Installfest. 1. I can try another wireless card. They're so cheap now it's a joke. I may already have an Airlink in my parts box. 2. I can try a different security protocol. Who made WAP the big deal? Let's branch out! 3. I can, at least temporarily, open my wireless. So, this being an NFL playoff Saturday (yes, I _am_ that shallow, thank you for asking), I'm much more likely to be hacking the Myth box in my living room as I sit and watch the early game. I'll have a plate of fine cheeses and a glass of chilled, premium fizzy water beside me: food, computer, football -- a geek's paradise! But thank you all, very very much. -- Lan Barnes SCM Analyst Linux Guy Tcl/Tk Enthusiast Biodiesel Brewer -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
